This Victorian Day Gown is semi-glossy embossed jacquard embellished with lace, appliqué & velvet. The top appears to be 3 separate pieces, though it’s all attached. The outer layer looks like a lace vest with five buttons over a top with velvet & lace adorned lapels, wide sleeves with single button closure and self tie in the back. The front panel creates the illusion of a shell top being worn underneath. The skirt is unlined with a comfortable elastic waistband and a wonderful wide sweep. It is embellished with see-through lace inserts, velvet panels and appliqué. The skirt was photographed with a crinoline to show the fullness of the skirt. Fabric & Care: 100% Rayon.
